Privacy Policy
Vega & Qubit is an all-ages space-science show on YouTube (@VegaQubit). This page explains what information this website and our publishing tool handle.
This website
vegaqubit.com has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no comments and no analytics or advertising cookies of our own. We do not collect or store personal information about visitors.
The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and plays episodes through embedded YouTube players. Those services may receive your IP address and set their own cookies under their own policies: Google Privacy Policy.
Vega Qubit Publisher and the YouTube API Services
Vega Qubit Publisher is a private tool the channel owner uses to upload the show's own episodes and Shorts to the Vega & Qubit YouTube channel. It uses the YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
The tool is not offered to the public, and the only account that signs in to it is the channel owner's, through Google sign-in (OAuth 2.0).
What information it accesses, uses and stores
- Accesses: the owner's own YouTube channel name and ID (to confirm it is uploading to the right channel), and the videos it uploads.
- Uses: only to upload videos and set their titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, captions and publish times. It does not read comments, analytics, subscribers or any other person's data.
- Stores: the owner's Google sign-in token and a list of uploaded video IDs, kept only on the owner's own computer. Nothing is stored on any server of ours.
- Shares: nothing. No data is sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising.
- Cookies: the tool is a command-line program and places no cookies or similar tracking on any device.
Revoking access and deleting data
Access granted to the tool can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page. When access is revoked, or on request, the stored sign-in token and records are deleted from the owner's computer within 7 days. Videos already uploaded stay on YouTube, where they can be deleted in YouTube Studio.
To ask for deletion of any information, email the address below.
